As we begin another college application cycle, while still in the pandemic, it is important for students to take away one of the most important life lessons throughout this experience and that is to always be resilient. Resilience is the ability to stay persistent and passionate toward long-term goals, even in the face of adversity. During the height of Covid-19, when restrictions prevented many students from reaching their academic goals or earning the test scores they wanted, admissions officers would seek evidence of resilience in their applications. In fact, one of the greatest qualities the Class of 2021 had was precisely having resilience and demonstrating it in their applications. This is important to note for the Class of 2022 as they begin their college application process. Welcome to a new school year!
