Whenever a student gets deferred from a school, we always recommend them to send a Letter of Continued Interest or LOCI. A LOCI is a letter that the student sends to the school they have been deferred from to let them know they're still interested in attending and why, despite the deferral. When you are deferred, you are now being considered within the regular decision pool. So it's always worth it to give it a shot! Here's a great article on what to include in the letter:
