Stop applying to colleges just to see if you get in....

That is what Reaches are for. You apply to several and that's it. But to continue applying to Reach schools just to see if you get in is not a smart move. Its costly, time-consuming and emotionally draining because in the back of your mind, you have high hopes for acceptances and when they don't come in, it's all just really bad. It's better to apply to no more than 10 schools: 3 Reaches, 4 Targets and 3 Safeties and that's it. No more than that. If you did the process correctly, everything will work out in the end and you will attend the school you were supposed to attend in the first place. Good luck!
